Default wire extension kits

hey guys,

putting my new apes on the scoot today, and I'm having problems with the extension kit. I bouht the Namz kit and it doesnt seem right, should the male and female ends of the kit and the control wires be snapping together, or am I to assume that the heat shrink is suppose to keep the connection together?

Cheers!

I would think you need to crimp them... not real sure tho I soldered mine but I wouldn't rely on the heat shrink rap to hold them together!

I tried the Namz kit on my bike and when I got done it looked like a snake that swalowed 2 Tampons and one of them was right where it goes into the frame. So I wound up cut, soidered and stagger the joints for a cleaner look.
