I am very happy to report that my Rinehart 2-1 exhaust system has been installed. Complete with sert, a/c upgrade, and dyno tuned. I am completely satisfied with the results. It wasn't cheap, but I would do it again. It is a completely different machine with this exhaust. The sound is awesome and you can clearly feel the power increase. I picked it up last Friday and I couldn't get off the bike all weekend. My stealer did an excellent job. When I picked it up, I found not only had they washed the bike, they detailed the bike.
In the beginning I was a little shook up by the cost, but it is amazing how fast you forget the cost when things are done right. They said a half hour before I arrived a guy came in to discuss a new exhaust system for his dyna. He took one look at my bike and said "order me one of those."
I forgot to mention I have the FXDI35. I have owned atleast 30 different bikes in my lifetime. I currently own 4 other bikes. This special superglide is the most incredible motorcycle I have ever owned. It looks great, it sounds great, and it acts great. When I am not riding, I just sit there and stare at it. I put the classic corbin solo seat on and that is one comfotable seat. I made three good decisions in a row....bike,seat, and exhaust. Four if you count the stealer !
I have the rhinehart 2 into 1 on my street bob as well, Its unbelieveable. I'll be installing different injectors and another newer download soon. rhinehart's techs say that with the 25o injectors and programming you can expect another 20%.
cjackson: school me a little on the injector change....I've got the bob with stage I, SERT, HD-download, and 2-1 rinehart too.......but no dyno tune. Is this an aftermarket injector repalcement or HD or bore out of the stock one? If my HD dealer in Santa Fe NM did the down load 2 months back are telling me there is now a newer improved download?
Also give me what kind of price your looking at.....because as you know you can throw on a conservative 95" kit for about $1500.00
Treasure,
I need to ask my dealer about the injectors. I really don't think they did anything with the injectors. I will find out this weekend and let you know. If I can gain some more power and the cost is reasonable I will probably have the work done.
cjackson
From what I was told, the factory injector is a 3 oriface at an 8 degree angle, there is a newer one from hd that is a 12 jet at a 25 degree angle, appearantly if a bike has runability issues they warranty to the newer one. A tech from rinehart told me that with the newer injectors and a new download that is due out in a few weeks you can expect an additional 20% gain,
