He said in Seoul, meaning he is in korea.

I can run with a pretty large hole in my tire and still get home with a new tube.

Tires can only be patched to a point and tubes are $12.

Tubes here in Seoul cost 50% more than in US. Tire was fine, they patched it from inside. Tube was chewed up from the nail moving around while the bike was transloaded on a truck to get repaired.

I will be buying solid wheels and go tubeless when I have my first tire changes.

90$ for tube and dismantling the tire to place the new tube + balancing and install. no new tire there! .Otherwise I'd say change 'em both and gimme a couple spares.

Just got one fixed, picked up a cut nail.

harly dealer insisted if it had a nail no matter where they needed to replace tire and tube.
over 350...

Found a indy, just a patch and tube, still wasnt cheap, but better than paying stealer prices.

also why I changed mine to solid wheels. Cleaning spokes just wasn't going to work. And every time I hit a pot hole I worried about loosening a spoke. The last thing was worrying about riding long distance and finding myself on the side of the road with a flat, you can't just plug it, but with the solid wheel and tubeless I have a tire repair kit complete with CO2 and can fix it where ever I am (at least until I can get to a dealer/indy/home and fix it properly.
Oh, and the fact that they look way better then the spokes

This is the exact reason I chose the FXD over the FXDC. I also liked the tank better. I just spray the wheel down with some wheel cleaner and hose it off and it's back to a show room shine.
