Default Head winds Headlight Help!!!!

I just mounted a headwinds head light and I am not sure if the mounting block on the bottom is faced the correct way. Can anyone post pictures to show me the correct way.

Thanks
Nick

You can mount it either way. Mine is turned 180 from stock and is 5/8" shorter to center my light better between my trees

I tried the stock mounting block but it is to short and causes the shell to hit the neck. This block is about 1/2 inch to long.

Narco - I had to move my new headlight quite a bit forward for clearance issues. I have my mounting block laying down like you have - but mine is like 2.5" long. How far forward do you need to move it?

I would actually like to move it back 1/2 inch. Does anyone know where I can get a different block?

I used the 1" vertical mount on mine. If I would have used the offset, the headlight would have been hanging out there, in line with the front tire.

You can get just about any type of mount directly from Headwinds. Theyre pricey, but you get what you pay for. And if you get the chance to visit their place in Monrovia, you'll get a guided tour through the whole facility. Definitely a class act.

Not to sound stupid - but a 1/2" back from what length???

It probably won't work, but you can have this is ya want it.

Otherwise, here's a link to the Headwinds forward mounting blocks

The block needs to be a 1/2 inch shorter. Then it won't stick out as far. Is there an easy way to cut it down to size?
