I don't know guys, the closer I get to going home, the more I'm looking at SGs...no, not Super Glides, Street Glides.
I have the itch real bad and am hoping that when I get home next month and do some riding, the itch goes away otherwise, I'm afraid I'm going to do something I'll probably regret...

i"m not old enough for a streetglide,i"m only 50. maybe in another 10 yrs or so.
If I would ever get another bike, it would be the streetglide!!! I'm in the process of getting rid of my truck and getting a new one, but if the deal falls through I might just say f**k it and get another bike!
DONT DO IT MAN.........
I promise you'll regret it.
At least wait and see what the new Wide Glides look like.
I don't know what the "new" Wide Glides will look like but I am definitely satisfied with my "old" one
I am all about whatever bike satisfies you the most....just when it costs as much as a Harley, I like to be sure I am really getting what I want (or often what I can afford)....think carefully.
I don't think you'll regret it. How about this: Trade your son's sporty in on the Street Glide, let him cruise the Super Glide and it will be there for you when you want to switch.
Of the Glides, I like the FLHX the most. Since my bike got torn up, 2 months ago now, I have been in serious contemplation and self denial about trading up.
That being said, the price difference and loss on a trade keep me from pulling the trigger.
I agree with the sentiment of riding/renting one for a bit, just to make sure it's what you really want.

LOL..the kid would love that, except I've already offered to let him take my LR for a ride...he's scared sh*tless....LOL
