Default Stupid question

How are Rush baffles measured? I just pull one out and it is about 2 3/4 across and about
16 in. long, and what's up with that fiberglass? do they need to be repacked when worn out? or can I tear it off and throw it away? Thanks

Rush baffles are measured by the ID, not the OD. Yes, theyre glass wrapped, and you have to re-wrap them when they burn out.

Or you can let them burn out, leave them that way, hear the pipes get way loud, performance suffer, and listen to the baffles rattle when you hit the right harmonics. Your choice.

BTW, its not a stupid question. I have the corner on that market.

I took the 'glass out of mine and it sounds better. No rattling either. What does the 'glass have to do with the rattling?
