Default Question about Rush Baffles

I ordered a set of baffles for my Rush pipes and they came in today; however, the packing is wrapped in what looks like 2 inch masking tape. Do I try to remove the masking tape before installing the baffles or leave it on and it will burn off? I did a search and found a zillion hits on rush pipes but didn't see one that addressed my question. I tried calling them but it was after 5 P.M. and they won't be open till Monday. Anyway, being the impatient person I am, I know someone on here will know. Thanks in advance.

Leave the masking tape on and put the baffles in the mufflers. You'll be fine.

Okay, Thanks Uncle Larry. That's what I'll do.

He is correct.

When I pulled my baffles to swap to a different size, I wrapped them back in masking tape.
