In the last few weeks I have not been able to ride like I want. I have only been getting my FXDC 08 out for a few minutes a couple of times a week. I have noticed when I first start up and for a couple of minutes, the engine will have a "miss" that I have never had before. Should I be concerned? I have been keeping the battery on the charger much of the time.
After the engine warms up it runs great. Thank for your info.

 

When is the last time you put gas in it? Could it be old or just bad gas? Could be the idle stop (IAC) is sticky / dirty, there are threads here explaining how to clean. Suggest that you pull the pulgs too and see if they're OK, maybe time to change them out as well.

Could be bad gas. When I know I won't be riding much for a few weeks, I always put in Sta-bile just to play it safe. Cheap and reliable.
