I got my 07 FLH out of the garage today, the second time this year (long story ). Took it for a spin around town and it kept stalling at every stop. Seems to run fine at speed, it just quits when the engine returns to idle. Barely got it home. Thought I smelled gas once, but it did not repeat.
What's your opinion?
If it's been awhile since you last ran it I would first of all change plugs. My bike after sitting all winter and just being started occasionally would do that come spring. Almost drove me nuts till a friend suggested I change plugs. Since I moved to Tx it don't sit in the winter anymore but when it did I first changed plugs before taking her out in the spring.
PS Guys are gonna tell you that your gas is bad....but as long as you are running it enough to use the tank within a year the gas will be fine. I never used that additive stuff.
