Got a bit over 8,000 on my ’09 bought the day after Christmas ’08…… I don’t see the point in having a bike that you don’t ride. Glad to see some high mileage numbers cuz I plan to put some serious miles on this bike.

Don't know how long they will keep goin'. I've had my FB since last November and seeing as how it is the most enjoyable overall streetbike I have had in recent years, I just might pass the 50K mile mark on it before I am ready to move on to another cruiser or touring bike.

Bought my new 09 Fat Bob in December. But didnt put a lot of miles on until March.

Right now I have right at 15,000 miles on it and still have two more rides scheduled this year, about 2500 miles each.

So it seems I'll get about 20,000 miles on my bike this year. Not much riding in Oregon after October. It starts back up in mid to late April. So for 5 months it will sit in the garage and only get out now and then when weather permits.

Man, I thought I put on a lot of miles. Compared to a lot of guys here I'm lightweight. So for 9K miles in 7 months. It seems that you have to run the crap out of Harleys within the warranty period so you can take care of whatever might come up, then you're golden.

I'm a bad example two bikes since 06, 1000 miles on one and 1560 on the other. But here in South Korea unless you can take a weekend and go on a long ride hard to put on the miles. Many of the used bikes here are one or two years old and have less than 5K on them. I have just not heard of anyone haveing any major problems. We have a few 02, 03, 04 year bikes here with more than 20K on them and no one complaining about any problems.

Default How long will a Dyna last?

I traded my Nightster in for a 2009 Street Bob, the end of last February. Since then I have racked up 8000 miles. I rode it from Cincinnati, OH to Needles California picking up Route 66 where it still exists and then heading up into Utah and Colorado before heading home. My father-in-law passed away in August of 2008 before ever getting a chance to make the trip himself on his 2007 Electra Glide. So his good friend rode my father-in-laws Electra Glide and I rode the Street Bob. We spread my father-in-law's ashes along the way. I hope as long as I keep up on the maintenance on both bikes I will get many, many more miles out of both bikes. I know one thing, that trip hooked me! I don't want to roll across country any other way. I hope to do the North West next trip.

I have a friend with about 350K miles on a Super Glide Convertible, but that's an Evo, and I don't know how many times it has been rebuilt. I don't know anybody with 100K on a TC96 yet, but I know of a couple of 100K-ish mile 88s. I'm thinking all they had to do was deal with cam chain tensioners to that point.

Well I have 47,367 miles on my 06, so I will let you know about the 50K blow up rumor. Having that many miles is a benefit for living in SOCAL!!
