Well, My wife decide to do something nice. She had my fenders pinstriped. Rear fender is bad ***, Front fender...Well is sucks...I mean bad. This was a private deal so having anyone pay for it beside me (or the wife) is out of the question.
My question is......HOW DO I GET IT OFF?
I have the Black denim paint...no clear coat or anything over the stripes. I have tried lightly with an razor....no luck and I would really not want to scratch it.

 

I'd make the wife get it off ! How ever she had to do it !

 

Is it painted on pinstripes?

 

If its painted on with one shot or similar you can use yellow top easy off oven cleaner, just make sure you tape all your chrome or cover it with a drop sheet as it'll ruin that in seconds...

Its pretty simple just takes a while to do... if you want specifics shoot me a pm and I'll walk you through it.

 

oh yeah .. my wife thought she'd wax my bike to cheer me up.. on my black denim paint.. D'oh !

 

you can try a little laquer thinner if its paint and fresh should come right off do not rub hard use a little on a very soft rag

 

Must be the new generation. The older biker broads know not to mess with pa's scooter unless they get permission first
