of course your fender isn't really that close to the original bobbed fender...it is a variation of the original.

Love mine. Just picked it up today. Tons of pictures coming tomorrow. 
I had my choice of any of the bikes and it came down to a Softail Custom, or the Dyna Wide Glide. I gladly choose the wg. I am not a fan of all the chrome and the wg is the perfect mix of black, without being blacked out. I wish it had hangers on it, but the stock bars feel really good to me.
Sounds like a damn scooter but that can be fixed. Feels like a cadillac on the road though. Keep in mind, I am no expert. Have only ever rode a Sporty Nightster which I only owned for 3 weeks before trading it in on this wg. I am new at all of this... just a dreamer who finally made one a reality.
Looking forward to getting more involved on this site....
