I've been lurking here for a while and this is my first post. I have a 2008 Black Denim Fat Bob.
Here's a pic from the Harley-Davidson web site under the 2010 Fat Bob photo's. This is not a CVO but shows what you can do with some of the 2010 accessories like the stressed leather seat and one of the paint packages. Been thinking about doing something like this myself
If you got the cash and you have to have it go for it. You're the one that has to be happy with the bike not us. Having said that I dont think the bike is worth it. I test drove that exact bike and wasnt impressed. I have an 09 black denim FB with the V&H short shots, PC-V and big sucker air cleaner. I like the way my bike pulled better than the stock CVO. I got mine for 14k + tax out the door. I have about another 3k in it now and over the winter I'm going to do a custom rear fender and maybe some paint. I'll have about 20k in it and imo it will be cooler and unique.
Why dont you look at custom bikes if you have 25k burning a hole in your pocket? I've seen some real nice bikes for under 20k that put the Fat Bob or any other stock Harley to shame.
Hello, can anybody tell me when (the month) started the salles of the CVO Fat Bob? I know that it's 2010 model but was avaible on the site since 2009, it could be bought in 2009 or only since 2010? If "yes", since what month?
Sorry about the mistakes, my english is not so good but I think that you guys could understand me. ;D
In this economy, I would be keeping the extra 10K in the bank. Of all the Dyna's if I bought another it would be the Fatbob. The extra wide tires, an the dual front disks make it one of the better handling Dynas, IMHO. Just the 96" alone has plenty of power. Throw a Power Commander or something similiar and a KN air intake on it and you can easily get another 10-15 HP. It won't be a CVO, but you can't eat or sleep with a CVO.
