Can someone send me the link or a detail on the engine mouth deal we are talking about the two allen bolts that bolt the front engine mount to the frame correct and all you guys are doing is loosen them up run the bike 10 to 15 sec maybe one little bip of the throttle then re torque them down? I think i need to do this my bike has 36,000 on it and vibration is more than when new.

What about the drive belt, if it gets on the loose side it could vibrate at speed.

It just sounds like something came loose or the motor mount softened up. Did oil get on it during an oil change?

Has the motor developed a little miss-fire?

The procedure is in the service manual. Loosen the two bolts that hold the front mount to the frame, if you don't have the bike upright on a stand/jack, hold the bike upright then start the engine and idle it 15 seconds. Stop engine and while the bike is upright tighten the bolts.

Ah, I didn't realize you had slip-ons. After I had mine installed, it shook like a beast. I located a hose clamp that holds the heat shield touching part of the frame. I backed it off - problem solved!

I don't know the torque specs, but the dealer can tell you.

I tried this a couple of days ago and it worked wonders for my Dyna vibration. Thank you!

In the 2008 service manual it is on page 2-31, it is the last three steps of the vehicle alignment section.
