Riding armed...
I've got a Kimber Custom CDP II .45 ACP with 3" barrel. Carries very nicely.
I would have no intention of leaving it on the bike but thought about having it someplace on the bike for better accessibility. A shoulder holster might actually be a better bet though.

I keep a hammerless J-frame S&W in the inside pocket of my jacket or vest. I'd much rather carry my 1911, but it's just too heavy and bulky, so I compromised on the 38. When I go into a bar, or other places that it's illegal to carry I lock it in my Nelson Rigg pack and lock the pack to the bike, plus I don't let the bike out of my sight for very long.
I have two Keltecs for carrying on the bike www.kel-tec-cnc.com .One is a .380 and the other is a 9mm. Either will fit easily into the hip pocket of a regular pair of jeans. I live in GA and have a carry permit. But, I don't worry too much about what state I'm in. I may be fined for carrying but I won't be killed by a thug without a fair chance at getting him first. I figure I live in what is supposed to be a free country that guarantees me the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The key word there is life. My wife and I ride two up a lot. I won't watch helplessly as someone trys to harm either her or me. I may not get 'im but I will sure be trying....
Ditto on the Kel-Tec 9MM. I have the older thicker version with more mag capacity, buddy has the one with thinner grips. I would have got it if it had been available several years ago. The thinner Kel-Tec is very concealable and light. You just have to get used to the double action trigger pull. I have concealed permit in my state and pretty much all the states within 500 miles have reciprocity.
