I feel your pain! I live right next to the murder capitol of the US and can't legally carry a gun to protect myself! What kind of crap is that?? Last year there were 510 murders in Chicago! In the 90's it was worse! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_Chicago EVERY DAY I hear of at least one murder on the news!
This isn't really related but kinda A buddy of mine put his sling on his shotgun and road out to Triple B for a squad shoot. As he got on the 105 freeway a Sheriff lit him up. By the time he pulled over and had a chance to look behind him. He had 6 Sheriffs cars and one Sergeant, and they shut down the freeway. After a little discussion the Sergeant took his shotgun and said he could pick it up at he Carson station only if he brought a car. He did and the next week did it again and got to the range with no problem.

Fed firearm lic doesn't matter a hill of beans unless he's a dealer. You don't need one to transport your own firearm concealed on your person across state lines provided that state has reciprocity with permit issuing state.
Anywho, there is a Gun Enthusiast forum on this site so you might wanna post this thread there or ask a mod to move it there. When threads like this pop up outside the Gun Enthuiast forum its not long before the Constitution-hating sissy anti-gunners open their pie holes and turn an otherwise relevant firearm discussion into a **** storm.
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."--Thomas Jefferson

I don't use it, and it would be illegal in Texas, but I always thought it looked pretty badass. (Weapon has to be completely concealed in TX)
That's freaking awesome! Would sure keep cages away if they saw it, but I would be too tempted to use it if I got pissed off.

Ya ... if it was an open carry situation this would not be bad ... But I prefer not to advertise anyways... Shoulder holster under my vest or I wear my 2 gun vest ...
