92 Dynaglide Custom
I've got a 92 FXDC with 35,000 miles on it and I've never had any tranny problems. Its got a Barnett clutch and a White Brothers burley kit in it.
I do notice that it takes more than the required 16oz to fill the tranny. I usually put another 5 or 6 ounces in or else it doesn't like to find neutral when its stopped and it finds it too often when its moving, especially from 5th to 4th on downshifts.
Otherwise, I don't have any tranny trouble.

I sold my 94 LowRider last year. Never had any transmission probs.
From what I read, you need to find another wrench. Hell, HD probably wouldn't have charged that much, and It'd be fixed.

Update: One day, $280, and its fixed. Apparently one seal wasn't pressed in far enough and the other was put in from the wrong side.
Needless to say I am gonna take a day or two, leave the guns at home, and go have a talk with my first guy. I do not know what is fair but I think he may owe me a little seeing how I spent @ 800 for him to not fix my problem.................
Any thoughts?
