If you're thinking of spending the $140 on the lights and do a lot of night riding...BUY THEM!!!
I don't know how I rode at night without them. I upgraded the stocker light bulb to a Silverstar Ultra...but that was nothing compared to these lights. They are amazing!
I turn them off and I get clostrophobic!! It eliminates the "tunnel" feeling and they project very well too.
I'll have to get some pics of them on the bike and the light pattern. The only hard part of the project was internally wiring them in the engine guard. Oh and I wired them with the ignition so they stay on with the high beam...stupid to hook it into the low beam so they turn off with the bright on.

Can you aim the fog lights to the sides? What I mean is: do they only mount on the engine guard facing straight ahead, or is there provision to have them aimed a bit over to the side of the road?
I want to illuminate the side of the road (for animals) and the wide, low beam of a fog light has always worked well on cars I've owned.
Right now I have passing lights and they (along with the headlight) light up the road satisfactorily... I just need to light up the sides of the road to get a "heads up" on jumping armadillos, alligators and swamp apes!
Darn,
Now I wish I didn't have the Lindby Multibar Engine Guard on the Super Glide Custom as I can not see how I can mount a set of those good looking and apparently great lighting MoCo driving err.....Fog Lights??? Heck I thought Fog Lights were always yellow so they actually helped when driving in Fog...Wide beam Driving lights that light up the Deer and Elk here would be so nice!!!!
