Airborne, just curious, that little leak you have on the bottom, are sure your tranny isn't venting a little oil? I was just thinking today, 6 more years would have put me at 75% pay, in today's economy should would have worth. I think. Thanks for your service.

Airborne, 98MPH and only 29M not the car in front of yours fault, but yours. Be careful not enough reaction time for you to even dodge at that speed. We don't want to read about your crash or to have you hurt.

That's not "Following too closely"

That's "Drafting"!

I was Stationed at "Patch Barack's in the late 70's. Panzer Kaserne and Boeblingen,
Visited and traveled as much as possible, from what I remember (damn that was a long time ago) it was an absolutely beautiful area.

Loved all the little town's and their "Volk's Vandertag's", I still have a wall full of medals that I collected. Probably have a 1/2" of dust on them though.

Ride safe and enjoy it while you can.

Could be. It does not leak enough for it to drip on to the ground, Class 1 leak. Right now I am going to keep an eye on it. Will have the HD look at it when I try to get them to honor the extended service plan. The front motor mount is toast.

I will have a total of 24 when it is time to rotate back to the states. Depending on where they try to send me will determine if I retire 12 months after I get back or not. As long as my job is still fun,, and I do love it, I will stay in. Unless I get broken too much more.

135mph in the wife's Toyota Avalon... It has a speed limiter on it.

Only got up to 105 on the Wide Glide... Then I remembered that the ground and everything else hurts when you crash. LOL

Cannot remember if the car was in front of me... Or if they pulled out to pass when I was moving at 135mph and I had to slow down. IT is actually pretty safe traveling at 100+ when the rest of the traffic is moving at or above that speed. But, yep if an animal jumped out there wouldn't be anything we could do.

Del,

I work on Patch. And yep it is awesome here. It has changed a lot since the '70s. A lot of the caserns were closed down. All that is left in the Stuttgart area is Patch, Kelly, Robinson, and Panzer.

During WWII, my father, a B-24 Navigator, bombed hell out of Stuttgart two times along with 28 other raids over the fatherland.

There is a huge hill that I ride past on the way to and form work that is from all the rubble for your Dad's work! On some of the blocks you can still make out the swastikas.
