No one every said it was fixed and I think it is completely fair. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the process and it's just in good fun for heck sakes. I also vote for the bike I like the best whether it be a bagger, softtail, dyna, or sporty. Some like to rally around their "own" and that's not a bad thing at all...it happens here as much as anywhere else. That's what makes the competition fun! Well, it's my day off and it's supposed to be 90 and sunny so I'm off to ride!!
I really can't hate on the baggers too much. My grandad had them when I was a kid and that's the first time I ever rode on a motorcycle. I used to climb up on his in the garage and act like I was riding. I would sit on that thing for quite a while. At that age I practically could have crawled up there and taken a nap on one of those sofacycles. Welcome back anytime, bountyhunter, ya couchridin' [sm=smiley35.gif]
Yea, they are not my style and I'm sure I'll never own one but they are still nice bikes and everyone has different tastes and wants. I like stripped down bare bones bikes, the project will probably be a kick only, suicide shift, springer. But to some it's all about comfort for the long haul. You can do both in style imho.
Never say never you guys! I always said NEVER to Harley's, baggers, windshields and look at me now. Sooner or later most make the switch, all of a sudden it just hits ya and ya never look back. The new WG's and Bob's sure are sweet though, wish I could afford 2 bikes.

Before I knew any better, I turned my nose up at touring bikes. Then I rode Dad's Road King. I still turned my nose up at baggers with faring. Then I saw "2006streetglide's" black Street Glide. Now I am completely screwed! I could walk into the dealer tomorrow and pick out at least six bikes with no trouble whatsoever.
