Default Pick my Apes - Kodlin vs. Road 6

I just put 4" risers on the Sporty. As expected everything (brake, throttle an wiring) was too tight - so there is an expense I don't want. Now I am going to put new bars on the Street Bob, but I will stay with 12" Apes so I can reuse all wiring and cables... I'm down to those made by Fred Kodlin and Road 6. Cost is too close to matter. Biggest difference seems to be Road 6 is drilled and dimpled. I plan to run wires internally. Does anyone have any experience with either??? As always, thanks for your help.

Hickey, did you have to change out or re-route any wires / cables on the 14"? Did you wire internally?

The 12" Kodlins are dimpled and knurled for internal wiring. I just put a set on my 09' Street Bob using my stock cables. They flow great with the fork line and are very comfortable. They're the only apes I'm familiar with, but I'm sold for good on Kodlins. Can't be beat for the price in my opinion. I just put up a new thread with pictures If you want to take a look. Good luck either way.

take the Kodlins. $130.00 and FREE shipping, Road 6,$140.00 + $20.00 shipping = $160.00
