Default Lower belt guard
I just purchased a chrome lower belt guard, are they easy to install? Any tricks that I should know. Also my upper guard just came apart on me last night. The forward part just came unconnected to the mounting piece. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Simple to install. LocTite blue (vibration resistat LocTite) is a Harley owner's best friend. try using it when you re-attach your upper belt guard.

Hi There,
I put one on my 2006 Wide Glide... Like hd_sob said, its easy... Two bolts (if I recall...)..
Took me less than 5 minutes to do... oh yeah, absolutely a drop of Blue LocTite on the screw is a great recommendation...

Just a suggestion any screw or nut you take out on your bike put a drop of lock tight on before re installing.

My wife has 06 Low Rider, she put her chrome belt guard on herself. If she can do it, you can.
