How does it hold up under high speeds...there are quite a few hex key bolts that move around...does this cause any issues with movement when the wind hits it hard?

I tried it a little today, and it moved some ...I checked the hardware, and it was a little loose. If it don't rain tomorrow, I'm going to run it again....

Did you attach yours like I did mine?

Does anyone have this shield on an 06 Dyna Super Glide with the speedo out in front of the bars?

I can't tell by your pics how you have it attached, but I have 12 inch zbars and attached it to the vertical portion of the bars. I've got a lot of room to adjust it but found for me that it worked best down close to the headlight and leaned back at an angle. This deflected most of the wind and rain on my last trip. Also if you have some instability tighten all the hardware. There are so many ways to turn and adjust it you really have to play with it to get it right, then go back and tighten everything.

Thanks for all the input guys. I will be curious as to what happens at speed...Particularly highway...I've never experienced a windshield yet, except on the Electraglide, that didn't buffet my glasses off my face, so I avoided them. At 50.00 I'd be willing to give it a shot if it seems as though it will hold up and not cause more trouble then its worth. My riders backrest and Panoptx glasses with the goggle type insert was where I put my bucks. The riders backrest takes all strain off of your back and arms from the wind and the glasses that are transitions keep my eyes dry... A shield would be nice in the rain though. Currently a leather bandanna is my only face protection from rain.

I have the same shield. Still get plenty of wind but it keeps the bugs off which is what i wanted. It does move around quite a bit. I have to adjust it everytime I get on. I also got some buffeting from underneath it on my bike. so i put my toolbag over the headlight and that solved that problem. It's small enough it doesn't take away from the looks of the bike. And yeah, for $50, can't complain.

Just took it out for about 20 minutes (between rain showers). Got it up to 75mph on the highway and it worked exactly like I wanted it to. This of course was after adjusting it down a bit (the tinted edge of the plexi was in my line of sight) and getting the angle right. I did have to tighten the **** out of everything. Was quite stable at 75 and the wind didn't feel like it was trying to pull my helmet off of my head, yet I still felt like I was on a bike and not in a car with the amount of wind I got to feel.

Durability is my only concern and only time will tell me that.

I would recomend this as a cheap/quick fix for wind issues.
