Just put some decent miles in on the bike with the shield. Went from Northern Philadelphia suburbs to Atlantic City and back. Made a noticable difference with it on as far as wind in my chest and face. Stayed put quite nicely the whole time (I do gotta get the bugs off of it now). Went about 140 miles. Pretty good test run.
How's that windshield holding up? And does anyone with a Street Bob
got front pic with it on? The place is around the corner from my
house and will let me pick it.
I just got mine in the mail today. I put it on but couldnt take a test ride due to the afternoon storms here. Ill try tomorrow. Im short but with the shield all the way down to just above the headlight I see over top. Cant wait to try it out.
I just got back from a quick 8 mile ride and the sheild was solid. Didnt move around at all. I did raise it up just a hair because it felt like my forehead was getting a rush of wind as compared to the rest of my face. It was no big deal though Ill just play with it till it seems right.
I ordered the tinted one and recieved the tinted one. I know the guys here that ordered the clear got the tinted but I wanted to make sure mine was tinted. With my luck I would have been the first one to get the clear one.
This past weekend I went on a 150 mile ride. Here in Florida the love bugs are starting to come out and they were bad. Still havent gotten them all off the bike, or my teeth for that matter, so if the shield helps out till the bugs go away it will be worth the 60$.

What kind of bike do you have, and how tall are you ?
The clamp that mounts to the bars is in 2 pieces with 2 screws, one on top of the bars one on the bottom. When I first started to mount the shield I noticed the clamp did not sit all the way on the bars. I hand started the 2 screws and then tightened them up a little at a time alternating from the top to the bottom screw. The clamp tightened fully around the bars and is very tight. I never noticed in the Ebay add that it was for 1" bars untill you questioned if it will fit, but it worked for me.
