As far as fitment...the bags I have are actually from a superglide so I wouldn't foresee any issue with them fitting if they're HD bags. You can always just hold a bag up to the strut cover and line up the bolts. That's what I did. Once I was sure they'd line up...I went to installing.

Yes the bags fit, they were bolted on by previous owner. My bike has been lowered with minimal rear tire to fender clearance, therefore I do not wish to "screw" around with bolts and want some thing that snaps on snaps off like my sissy bar. original I was going to do what Ronn did with his bags and bought another detatchable sissy bar mount to attatch to my bags, then started look at docking hardware and thats when things got fuzzy. There are a bunch of docking hardware listed. Im thinking I can get the bar and bag docking hardware in one bag saving $44 because Ronns plan calls for 2 kits. I was not sure if my bags would work but dont see why they wont they are harley bags sized for my Dyna. Thats why I posted a pic of my bags above.
