Dual disc Wheel
Hi
I am about ready to get the parts together to convert to dual disc
I want to use a 2.5 harley CAST wheel of some design (maybe 6 spoke)
my stock wheel is of course hub/nub so is of no use
Does anyone know the OD of the wheel bearing on a 00 - 05 fitment?
And does anyone know the value of the deck height of the rotor mounting flanges, by which I mean what is the inside distance between the 2 disc rotors when mounting on their respective flanges.
I have read numerous posts regarding dual disc 49 mm techniques, and have seen some good ideas, and to me, what were some bad ones.
Anyhow, I would like to formulate an approach that requires no machining or spacer "slugs" or caliper "overbite", and I am sure with patience it can be done really well.
If any one has any contributing info of any kind, please do not hold back.
