I picked up nice set of knurled pegs, grips, and shifter post. The shifter post is 5/16-18 thread. Does anyone know what the thread is on the stock mid control shifter? It isn't the same as the new shifter post for sure. I still have to figure out how to make it work with two diffierent threads but having having the shifter thread numbers will get me started. Thanks.

Ill get the tap and die set out
No dice. I got a 1 1/4 5/16-18 bolt and was going to cut the head off of it but it doesn't fit the shifter. It fits into the shifter peg nice though. The bolt on the stock shifter peg looks to be a bit finer thread than the 5/16. I may end up drilling the threads out of the shifter and running a buttin head bolt through it. Thanks for the help though.
That's what I'm asking. The only option here is to modify or change the shifter. I'm not going to tear up the new shifter peg. I will post some pics when I'm done.

That's what I was thinking (which doesn't mean it's the best option).
Where did you get the knurled pegs? I've been looking for a reasonably priced set.
