So I'm done with the shifter. I will modify the brake in a few weeks when some other parts come in. I ran a 5/16 drill bit through the shifter and used a 5/16 cap headed screw to mount the peg. This is the first thing I have done to my bike besides pull the reflectors and front fender off. It felt great to wrench on it a bit. I can't wait until the rest of my parts get here. I'll post up some pics first thing in the morning.
Redbeard- I got them on ebay. I just searched "knurled" under motorcycle parts. They are the ART style, knocks offs of what West Coast Choppers uses. I got the grips, pegs, passenger pegs, and shift and brake pegs for around $250. They got here in about 4 days.
