vibrations???
I am surprised when someone complains of the vibration on a new dyna. For the people that have been riding harley's for several years I think it is "unharley" not to vibrate. Its part of the feel of a harley. I can't stand the balanced twin cam engine, feels too honda IMOP, and that is one of the main reasons I didn't get springer , and got the wide glide instead.
My '01 FXDWG doesn't vibrate. The balanced soft tail vibrates a lot more than the Glide. The only problem I had was with a thunder header. The bike vibrated at around 70 to 80 until the header support bracket broke and then the vibration went away. I welded the bracket and the vibration returned. When the bracket broke the second time I left the 2 nuts that attach the header to the bracket a little loose (1/2 a turn) and put jam nuts on to keep the nuts tight. This gives the header some room to grow as the bike heats up. I don't know why I could feel the vibration because none of the exhaust is touching the frame but it's ok now. Good luck.
