Well folks, just got the apes done with internal wiring. What a pain in the @$$ that was. I have to say too that the HD turn signal relocation stems don't look that great in my opinion. They coulda made em 1/2 the length and a bit more solid. Anyways I put 250 miles on em yesturday and everything is cool, soes it's a go. I do got a question on which or where do ya get a smoked taillight lens to fit St. Bob ?

customdynamics.com has them....althought, it's the entire tail light...not just the lense. the low profile LED tail light is great...I have it and love it.

Were those the H-D Fat Mini-Apes, by any chance? Wuz lookin' at 'em at the local stealer's today and am thinking I might spring for some.
PS-Kuryakyn also has an LED Smoked Tail Light Kit for around $100.

I just so happened to pick up my smoked lay down lens from drag specialties today, a local shop ordered it for me, it was on backorder for three weeks, cost 26 bucks, looks real good. I had a hard time finding a red bulb to put in, I rode it for about a half hour and the lens felt real hot, I think I will look for an LED red replacment bulb to cut the heat, before I melt the lens.

phreak do you have a pic of the clamps. Ive been debating on the relocate kit also and dont like the way they stick out.

i believe drag specialties has them if you don't want to go LED. they are about 25 bucks. i picked one up on ebay. mine is an 02 FXDL but i believe i saw them for an 04-06 before i found mine.
