Has anyone done it? (on a Fatbob?)
What's the purpose of an open primary and what are the advantages disadvantages etc.?

No have never done it. Its usually for high horse power or because it just looks cool

No it basically connects the engine to the cluth/transmission. Open primaries are really expensive.

Not sure the aftermarket is accommodating the TC96 yet in that manner...
