04 FXDXI Nightmares
I have a 04 FXDXI (Fuel Injected Dyna Super Glide Sport)
I've had a AN BigSucker Intake, V&H Propipe Stage1 DL and then Stage2 DL and 2 R.T. 95" kits installed. Fried front cylinder twice I believe due to running too lean.
Third time around installed HD 95"kit R.T. DFO and SSgear driven perf.cams
Babied her through the 3rd breakin in 3.5 months She dogs on throttle up and throttles down too fast
Thought maybe she had oil pressure issues but she doesn't
Indicate DTC's after startup that don't show on scanalyser They show on the WOW test as Map Hi intermittant front and rear ignition
and it shows Stg1 down load instead of Stg2 I've been told that the DFO overrides the Downloads so thats not supposed to affect engine operation. She's been down since 6/12 and waiting to go onto the Dyno with the Digi Tech. Any sincere suggestions.
6/17 Ok I already thought about taking her elsewhere but I've got warranty issues with the shop that started on all this,and I thought about given her a Viking Funeral. Maybe I should just feel Honored that my bike is the first one to ever have this problem.

Dealer found same thing wrong as the WOW test. Evidently the The ECM still needs the Stage 2 Download since its still controlling the Ignition and the DFO is controlling the Fuel? I'm wandering if it needs a 1450 or 1550 stage 2 Download? Does anyone Have any idea how long it normally takes to Burn up a 95" when its being controlled by Stage 1 Download for an 88" motor, my guess is approx. 500 to 2000 miles.
