Default Fat bob waves

Someone commented on the fact that as they are riding down the road that other Harley riders seem to want to wave to ya when you're riding the FatBob but they don't know what the heck to think about the dual headlights and want to wave but aren't sure if it's a Harley or not.

I get that all the time.. I do also get a lot of "cool bike" comments and many people ask me "what model is that ?"

There seems to be a lot of interest in these bikes. Another rider commented that the only thing he doesn't like about his FatBob is that he doesn't want to get off of it when he's riding it. After riding 500 miles (2) weekends ago and another 300 this past weekend, I feel the same way. This bike is nothing but comfortable to ride "in"

Yeah on the road fatbobs do look a little off with their dual headlights.(certainly different than other Harleys) I am seeing them around much more and have also seen several wideglide front ends with the dual lights now. Those dual lights look really cool on the 41mm wideglide fronts. BTW nothing wrong with the dual lights, but, I can see how they can be mistaken as something other than a Harley to non bikers and others that just don't know. Heck many Dyna owners have gotten comments about their "nice sportster".

You guys live in some crazy areas. I always got a wave from Harley or Metric regardless of if I was on a Honda, Yamaha or HD. Sport bikes never wave, but I don't expect them too.

I don't think ther eis anything metric out right now with a dual headlight ...

I wave at everyone, regardless of what they're on, then again, I usually wave at cars too. Not only is it friendly and pretty common, if not expected, in the South, but if someone waves back at you, you can be sure that they know you are there. It's a win win not to be a dick.

Bingo, not being a jerk but have been riding for 40 years and if I'm moving both hands are on the bars. I'll wave if I'm stopped but not otherwise. Of course I'm always happy to talk bikes whenever I'm off it and like all kinds regardless of the mfg.

So if I pass and don't return the wave don't hold it against me.
