It's the same tank, just repaired.
The painter said he used an old-school technique to take the dents out. He removed all the plastic internal parts, and heated the area up. Then, while the metal was extremely hot, he covered the area with an ice-cold rag. He said that makes the metal contract and expand, basically repairing itself. He said the lower dent came out almost completely doing it that way, and the upper dent required only about a quarter inch thick layer of Bond-O. It's impossible to tell anything was ever done to it.

It really worked out great in the end. It actually only ended up costing me about $260 total, thanks to this website.
