Yeah, it feels damn good. Most people think I'm crazy for buying a house so young, but it's cheaper then paying rent, so I said why not? And we get that tax credit, so that was just even more incentive, ya know?

Congrats!

I’m 38 and just now buying my first house…..LOL Not without mitigating circumstances. At any rate, I put a bid in on a place yesterday that I’m really hoping will happen. This will be the third house I’ve bid on. I low balled too much on the first and they didn’t come back with a counter. The second is tied up in an estate guardianship that I got tired of waiting on. I’m hoping the third time is the charm.

It’s a pretty tiny place – only 850 sq ft, but it does have a garage for my bike. The car will have to deal with the elements for the first time in its life.

Hahaha yeah man! Gotta set your priorities straight! Bike first, then car! LMAO. Thats awesome man. I wish you the best of luck. We were in a bid with 5 other people for this house. I was soooo stoked when we found out that we got it! Our place is really small too, but whatever man. It gets the job done, and its awesome.

Anyway, good luck man! Hopefully everything works out.
