LOVE the stance your SB has! Your also inspiring me to do the same...but I just don't know about the blocks. Can you shoot a close up of the mount?
Also, since they are cheap I'd be more willing to try them compared to new shocks if I find I don't like the lack of lean angle. Quick question on the progressive fronts...
Say you don't like how far you dumped your front end...could you pull out the spacers you cut and raise it back to "stock" height with a new piece of PVC pipe? That is what lowers it correct? I think I read it that way...
No, the progressive kit comes with a 6 inch PVC pipe that sits atop the springs. That will give you a one inch drop. Cut it to 5 inches and you have a two inch drop. Put a new 6inch PVC pipe and its back up to a 1 inch drop. To go back up to stock height, put the stock springs back in. Its really only a few minutes to swap them out.
Yup..you got it bikerlaw...hey vinsil..dont be afraid of them..theyve been around for along time...ill get some nice pics in the am for ya and post them. The way there designed they lay on the swingarm so thats taking the load...and thanks..i went with the blue cause ya never really see that color..ill send the pics out to ya in the am....Kevin
I have the drop in kit in the front and i lowered it the most i could go...think it droped it about 2 inches...in the back i went just about 1 inch shorter...check out my stance....I did change the fork oil (went heavier, think 15wt, dont remember tho) and threw in those ricor valves....i noticed a huge difference on how it handles...i think it handles perfect...100% better than stock...but my kickstand needs to be shorter...doing up that mod this weekend...

Yoasa! Anybody that says you can't make a Harley look good without a ton chrome needs to take a serious look at your bike mrbeerbelly. Looks awsome! And a great stance to boot.
