I'd like to switch from 39mm narrow
to 41 or 49mm mid-glide. Are Street Bobs the only
model that have the 8-7/16 spacing? I'd like to find
used factory trees to save some $$$. I'm aware of the
diff. axle, spacers, etc.
Thanks
06-up Street Bob, Lowrider, Super Glide, and Super Glide Custom all have the 49mm Midglide front ends.
A few notes if looking at stock triple trees
In 08 they beefed up the tree's around the pinch bolts. Was some issues with the 06/07 breaking at the pinch bolts so if get a older one becareful on the install.
The Lowrider trees will have a bit more rake than the others.
The 08+ street bob trees have the intregrated risers so limits your bar choices.
I think the only Dyna that had the 41mm was the older WG's but maybe someone else can confirm that.

Spot on as far as I know................of course I don't know much!
I think the newer (07 & up) Low Rider trees are the same as the other Dyna trees except DWG
The LR trees on the 06+ have slightly more rake. If you look at the specs of the different Dynas (minus the FB and WG) they all show 29 degree rake but the LR has a longer wheelbase and over all length. Thats from the extra rake in the trees.
