thanks for the tip rcb. unfortunately they don't have the bracket but looks like they will be good people to know. had some really cool old panhead or shovelhead motors.
fxd thanks for all your help but gonna say know for now on looking for the bracket in europe. i will go to my local dealer and get that pix from the service manual and see what my friends and i can come up with.
well i finally found the bracket. unfortunately i had to buy the complete dash. found the whole thing on ebay. the good thing is the new speedo and and tach have the chrome trim ring. i guess i will now learn how to sell things on ebay. thanks to all who have looked and responded.
will be taking pix when i actually start taking the bike apart. temp still in the 6o's so still have some riding to do. was working on the list of things i want to do this winter and it just seems to be getting longer and longer.
i am running into the same problem, need instrument console bracket for 02 fxdl part # 48047-95a but part is obsolete and no replacement has been made, would appreciate any info or leads someone might have.
