Hawg halter dual calipers
I am thinking about buying a set of these from another member and installing on on my existing calipers fork, 2008 street bob. The price is what one side costs new from HH now. I think any chance of selling the right side are not good, because in my ignorance I assume that someone installing duals would like to have the same ones on both sides??
I don't want to mess with installing both because I believe I would have too change forks in order to have mounting position for the other side and purchase another rotor plus the purchase price of the HH and you ar talking more than a grand.
It looks like the HH will significantly improve my stopping power even just adding the one? Also I assume the caliper piston and pads are interchangeable with the other side and will save them for the future. Any preservations issues? Shoot something into the caliper piston sleeve to prevent it from rusting in place?
