my idles strongly [sm=smiley30.gif] no hesatation no dead spots
I know, I know, thats why I have been researching on SERTs, PCIII, and DFOs. What do you have? Can I install SERT myself without any running a DYNO? Is it simple to install (SERT).
Can a PCIII be moved from one bike to another? Like if I sold my bike, can I use it on a new bike? Or can I sell it on ebay? I think the fuelpack will be "married" to your bike once you put it on.
I just got off the phone with FuelMotoUSA. PCIII should be here in 3-5 days, with FM's 2 year extended warranty, he put a map on it although I will be having mine dyno'd. He said it was a newer one with latest features as all their PC's are only a couple weeks old. All that for $269 plus $12 shipping equals $281 to my door. Not bad.
Just ordered a PCIII from them, premapped for the pipes I'm getting from kaduku with the big city thunder baffles, and also ordered an air filter from him.
Seems like a hell of a nice guy, and easy to do business with.
I can't believe how much money I've spent on this damn bike.

Anybody thinking about mods should read the Dr. Dyno article in the current American Iron. He has been running a series of articles that are very helpful when it comes to picking the right adds. The most current issue deals with the way the maps work and some of the differences between tuners.......a lot of dis-information out there. What you want it to do is as important as what numbers you want to end up with......max top end and hp is probably not it. A good read and well worth it..........

Thanks for the tip on FuelMoto. Just ordered mine, finally someone with a brain. Gave them my pipe and air cleaner change, bumped the Rev Limiter up to 6200, no more O2 sensors and at my door in 3 days. Anyone want a brand spanking new V&H Fuelpak?
