What's involved? Is it just an oil change and fluids or do you need to be able to remember how all the bolts goo back in after you take stuff off? I'm good until it gets over about 5 screws.....after that, I have alot of parts that I can't figure out how to get back in...

It's been about a month and I don't have a great memory but I think the only thing that had mutiple screws was the derby cover. You should be fine though its only 5 screws. Take it easy on the those torx screws, they strip very easy. I replaced mine w/ stainless sockethead cap screws. I don't remember the check list.
Change fluids and oil filter were the only parts needed, adjust clutch (sounds hard but, its very easy), check brakes, engine mounts, check spokes, check steering, battery and electrical. Buy the manual and a torque wrench before you get started.
I bought the Harley wrench because I like tools but, JP Cycles has a similar wrench for $10.
How much do ou think I am looking at for materials.....oil and such?
I think the Black filter is $8, and oil is anywhere from $8 to $12 per qt. and you'll need 5 qts.
