Just finished putting Apes on the FB

Well..first time changing bars on a bike, lots more effort then I had figured but now im done. All I need to do now is adjust the clutch and some cleanup to be done with this phase.

Those bars look good, they really go well with the front end.
Don't worry, it'll be easier the second time you do it.

Thought I should toss out that I got most of my "how to" from this forum. Things like, torque spec, poly bushings, how to adjust the clutch and so on..there is a lot of info on here from you guys. Thanks.

Great looking mod. The lines work much better than stock with that bike. How is the feel while you are riding?

I took it out for about an hour after I was sure i got everything torqued down. This is my first time on a bike with Apes and I have to admit...it was a bit scary at first..now I just have to get used to it. It is a different ride for sure. Lots of fun.

I need to work on making soccer moms think I am going to eat thier kids tho.

I love the look,nice choice. It will take a little to get used to them and then you wont even think about it. I have had all types of bars and the apes for me are the most comfortable. And yes,this forum is the best.
