i own a 1990 dyna sturgis.. i want to make it look more "race" or "sporty" it currently has progressive lowering shocks, and i dropped the fork tubes to lower it a bit. put on drag bars, i blacked out the trees/headlight/inst. cluster/headlight cover, added small sportbike turn signals, engine has a cam and push rods, K&N, flat slide mikuni and some hot ignition system.... im still trying to make it stealthy/sport.. any suggestions? i was kind of thinking of installing a steering stabilizer, but i havnt found one, maybe a fork brace aswell as those sunstar 2 pc brake rotors that are black on the inside, they come on some of the new sporty's and they make them for dyna's aswell. all suggestions are welcome.. thanks in advance!! heres a pic of it for reference.
i actually have a 2-into-1 supertrapp set up for it, but it really didnt look good on it (no shields so it was all blue and yellow), so i put the slash cuts on it because it cleaned it up and it sounds incredible.. perhaps i can find a good looking/performing 2-to-1 set up somewhere.
no on the rear set, im comfortable like this (im 6'1') and the forwards are fairly new.. i really like the idea of barend mirrors because since my kury's are so low, all i see is inner elbow and part of the emergency lane. where can i find those? i see them on alot of ducati's and buells.. i dont really want fairings because i like the bare mechanical look (like the suzuki SV 650 and tri speed tripple).. im def. looking into a forcewinder or equiv. i can probably make one for cost of material and a filter (a close and skilled friend owns a fab shop, look @ avitar) any more pics of that sporty? i like it, heres a picure of mine when i first got it, its changed alot. below that is a pic of a HD that has a steering stabilizer and a awesome swingarm...
I found the bar end mirrors at a mfg shop that made them for sportbikes. I was the first harley he did Not going to lie, though, I can't see poop...but they look so cool
