One way to find out is to go to the dealer's parts counter, ask to see the books for the 010 & 07. Compare the numbers for each mounting system, then look at an 010 on the floor.
Size it up the best you can first hand, then go for it.
no they will not. its a completely different head pipe system
Longhair is right, the '10 WG exhaust is the same as the FXDF... and it will fit the 07 Dyna.
This is how I know:
I have an 08 FXDF, my riding pal has an 07 FXDB. We both had V&H Short Shot Stagered exhaust (he still has his, I don't).
V&H supplied the same bracket for both bikes.
The V&H braket replaced the my stock FXDF bracket (part #65696-08) and mounted to the same three transmission bearing housing bolts.
Heres a pic of the stock FXDF bracket. (I didn't know that bolt was loose!)
no they will not. its a completely different head pipe system
How are the head pipes different? Same 96" motor. Same 6spd tranny, so no clearance issues. Same angle. Same everything.
My italian uncle used to say this to me and occassionally I listen: "Cuando you go, open you eyes." His english is horrible but he gets the point across. That's no typo. That is exactly how he says it.
Im dredging up this old post with a similar question, I just picked up a stock exhaust from an 06 dyna. I need this bracket to mount it up. I have everything else....is there any where else I can purchase or find this bracket? dealer wants fourty bucks for it and I have to wait about a week. The part numbers are exactly the same except the last two digits
65695-07 is for 07s duhhh!
65695-06 is for 06s duuuh! x2
Im just wondering if these are exactly the same or just made differently and will it work either way I go with it?
