bberck,
I ran the GT502F on my last set of tires and only got 7500 miles from it. So this set stayed with the SE 180 rear (only got 7500 from it as well but love the look so take the short life) and went back to the K591 on the front as I got 12k from it on my first go round.
I found no noticeable difference between the GT502F and the K591 to justify the poor mileage from the SE tire.
When I put my SE180 on the rear, I still had plenty of miles left on the stock front. At least they are both the same brand even if not the same model, right? I figured by the time I need another rear tire, I'll need a new front and would put the SE's on the front and the back. Not expecting anything out of the SE front other than it just matching the rear. I do like the looks and the ride on the SE rear over stock though. Enough that I'm willing to live with it's short life and put another one on just like it when it wears out.
i have runs SE front and back for the past 4 tires... i am swaping to metzler now... i had no problems with the SE tires they just wear out so dam fast... but other than that i thought and will continue to think of them as a great tire!
I was going to go with the Night Dragons (front now and rear when SE wears out) but I have been happy with my SE rear tire so far so went ahead and ordered the SE front tire this morning.

Did your bike come with the K591 on the front? My 2006 Low Rider came with a D401 on the front and a K591 on the rear. I asked the dealer if I could put a K591 on the front and they didn't know. Go figure.

Tbone,
My '06 LR was made March of '06 and came with the K591 front and rear. Got about 10k from the rear and 12k from the front. Second set GT502F/SE180 and got 7.5 k on both.
