damm awhile back i had some apes on my bob and made a small fairing out of fiberglass not to bad but took it off. the ones on corbin website are not bad lookin
After all these "funny" replies here is one serious one. It is based on presumption that you want to do your full fairing mod in order to get rid of a lot of wind on the long trip and not because you like the look ;-). Consider this:
Buy H-D detachable windshield for your bike
Buy Softail chrome wind deflectors (OEM# 58125-90B) and fabricate the way how to connect it with the windshield holders so that it is removable together with the windshield.
Buy H-D Touring front fork air baffle (OEM# 58520-79TC) and fabricate the way how to connect it to the lower triple tree.
This way you should get rid of the most of the annoying wind, but still have reasonable amount of wind to feel good - and the bike will hopefully also look good enough. This is what I plan to put on my SG Custom when going to European Harley Festival in Saint Tropez in May (850 miles one way).

I have Memphis shades Lowers on my 09 FXD along with a HD quick detach windshield. They work great together no buffeting, I have them on now, I commute to work 35 miles each way, it's been raining here in Seattle for 2 weeks straight.
When it's nice out they come off in about 5 minutes
Your front tire beats ***. What do you have on there? Size/model etc.
Front end is a stock take-off from a Softail Fat Boy FLSTF ... the wheel is from a Heritage and tire is stock replacement Dunlop (forget the specs) ...
