I'm 220 and have 34 front 40 rear with no problem.

I set my tires to H-D recommended pressure. I have metzelers too.

Running 40/40 on my wife's Dyna. If the front gets below 36 she knows it and does not like it.

Unless you have stock tires go by the tire. Metzelers 42f 44 rear.

Stock tires you go by the manual. I go plus one. Not stock you should go by what the tire says. Its a max reading so you can drop it 2 or so pounds. Run a constant average pressure and don't worry. Relax and enjoy the ride.

Default owners manual for tire pressures always

always go buy vehicle owners manual when finding tire pressures. the pressure on the side of tires is max pressure. the tires on your bike or car are made for numerous different bikes or cars each may require a different pressure depending on weight. if someone says use pressure on side of tires they have no clue what they are talking about. master mechanic for 25 years . hope this helps
