I run 40/40 with stock harley tires on my FXDC. I notice the difference when it goes below 38 on the front.

Agreed. I never understand why people get irritated when threads come back to life if they are technical or useful.

Ok since we are on a air pressure thread I hope this is OK. I went to move my 2000 Dyna Super Glide the other day in my garage and found the front tire almost flat. This tire is a new Metzeler probably doesn't have even 500 miles on it on a mag rim. I aired it back up to 40 lbs and soaped the whole wheel and stem, but no leaks, and just checked again after 4 days and still 40 lbs. This is making me nervous as I don't want the darned thing going flat while I am riding, but don't have any idea why it went flat to begin with. Didn't run over anything and there aren't any holes in the tire and no leaks at the stem or core. Any one have any ideas beside shitcan the tire and get a new one?I think the bike is telling me to get the 21" spoke wheel I want and a new tire.

I have really nice forged aluminum wheels (uncoated, polished) on my truck that have seasonal leaks. Every fall, like clockwork. From what I understand, it's not uncommon for alloy rims. Not sure of the reason though.
