Remove the front bolt of the tank and raise it up high enought to access the rubber cover that is under the frame beneat the tank. You can pull this out to access the wiring harnesses, e.g. the two desired connectors. Unplug them and then pull them out through the opening on each side of the neck. Take your time... no problem.
I forgot i also want to move my directional signals to the lower tree while i'm at it , i know they sell the mounting kit and that looks easy , but what about those wires , i take it they are all together and slide them down inside the handlebar and leave enough to reach the blinkers ?
If you locate your turnsignals to your lower tree or forks, those wires will run straight back to their respective plugs in the backbone, not in the bars.
The turnsignal wires are separate from the control switch wires.

Thanks to everyone who replyed , i'm ordering the bars sometime next week and i will print out these directions and give it my best shot and of coarse will update my outcome or disaster to the forum.
Do a search on taking the connectors apart, I think Mudpuddle posted on how to take them a part. Dis-connect the fuel line at the gas tank or you are likely to break it!
