SC-Longhair posted a video on how to take molex connectors apart for wiring. Mudd posted directions with pics on how to make a tool and use it to disconnect the wires from the connector. Both are great posts. You do not have to take the fuel line off from under the tank as there is room to remove the plug from above it - but if you are not patient, it may not be a bad idea. Good luck!

Thank you but I'm going with a different set up now and i think the new bars aren't predrilled but i can still check out his video...
Do a search on taking the connectors apart, I think Mudpuddle posted on how to take them a part. Dis-connect the fuel line at the gas tank or you are likely to break it!

Been there done that, the t-shirt is soaked in gas.
What bars did you get? Gloss or flat Black? I'm having a set of stock 09 SB bars powder coated but can't decide on finish. Then running the wires internally.

If you can run the wires inside the bars it really makes for a clean look. Pre drilled are best, but drilling and de burring the holes works too. Just make sure when taking any connector apart that you mark the connector which wires goes back in where. Very fine tipped markers work best for that.
